- Scan and record codes located in vehicle systems. Perform diagnostic tests to determine cause of vehicle service light(s). P0446 VENT CONTROL Check the evaporative system and found the evaporative vet system hose to have collapsed and failed.
- Remove any evaporative shields to access the evaporative ventilation solenoid. Remove and replace the evaporative emission ventilation solenoid. Reassemble all related components. Recheck the evaporative system for proper operation.
