- CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON/OFF – EVAP
- Scan and record codes located in vehicle systems. Perform diagnostic tests to determine cause of vehicle service light(s). P0496
- Remove any engine control units and shields to access the evaporative purge solenoid. Remove and replace the evaporative emission purge solenoid. Reassemble all related components . recheck the evaporative system for proper operation.
