- CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON (P0302, EVAP CODE – from Auto Zone) LR TIRE REPAIR
- Scan and record codes located in vehicle systems. Perform diagnostic tests to determine cause of vehicle service light(s). p0442 evap small leak detected p0496 evap system flow during non purge
- Remove wheel from vehicle when needed. Locate the leak in the tire. Remove the tire from the wheel. Clean the inside tire surface and install a patch plug into the leak found in the tire. Mount the tire onto the wheel and rebalance. Install tire back onto the vehicle when needed. Perform TPMS relearn when needed.
- Remove any engine control units and shields to access the evaporative purge valve. Remove and replace the evaporative emission purge valve. Reassemble all related components . Recheck the evaporative system for proper operation.
